SPC flooring is one of the easiest floors to maintain. Follow these rules and yours will look new for decades.

Daily and Weekly Care

  • Sweep or vacuum (no beater bar) to remove grit
  • Damp mop with pH-neutral cleaner — never a steam mop
  • Wipe spills immediately, even though the floor is waterproof

What to Avoid

  • Ammonia, bleach, or wax-based cleaners
  • Abrasive scrubbing pads
  • Steam cleaners (heat can compromise the click joints)
  • Furniture without floor protectors

Protecting High-Traffic Areas

Use rugs at entryways (with non-staining backings), felt pads under furniture legs, and chair mats under rolling office chairs.

Long-Term Tips

Trim pet nails regularly, keep humidity between 35-55%, and avoid direct prolonged sunlight which can fade any flooring over time.
